Club Leader: Eric Sun, the AMC Achiever

My name is Eric Sun

I am good at Math, I want to share it with you.

I am a rising 9th grader in Conestoga High School. I still remember when I was little; I competed with many kids and luckily won the 24 game title in MLCCC. Since then, I have participated in various math competition activities such as Math League, MATHCOUNTS, and AMC series.

Eric Sun, Club Leader

Although competing in math competitions brings me happiness, systematic learning and a deep understanding of math help me see the big picture of studies in a much more profound way. I want to share my understanding, my thoughts, and my passion for math.

My credentials as your club leader:

  • 2020 - 2021 Two times AIME qualifier
  • 2020 - 2021 AMC8 Perfect score.
  • 2021 - Selected as ARML Team member
  • 2020 - 2021 MATHCOUNTS State individual 7th place (1st place in Chester County) and Captain for VFMS MATHCOUNTS Team
  • 2021 - AP Calculus BC: 5

What else do I do other than Math?

Besides math experience, I also developed teaching experience by being a math TA in MLCCC summer camp and hosting the AMC 8 preparation series in a Conestoga club. Other than all these, I enjoy cross country running, swimming, and playing my cello.

Join other Math-loving students and me locally and nationally for a fun MATH time, every time.

Students will be expected to behave in a respectful manner toward coaches, demonstrate a willingness to work with the coach on their homework, and follow instructions from coaches. Students not adhering to the behavior code will be warned and if the behavior continues, students may be removed from the Zoom session for the day. If the behavior persists in future sessions, they may be blocked from attending the Homework Club until they and their parents have discussed the situation with the school Admin.

Homework Club sessions will be monitored. The program will never be recorded. We also invite parents to join students during the program. Each session will have the waiting room enabled so that all attendant is screened before being allowed to enter the club.
